theMEM is a multi-functional building offering businesses and colleges an ideal venue for board meetings, informal meetings, training and/or learning days, conferences, functions, exhibitions and so on.
There are a number of suites available which cater for different functions and varying capacities. Details can be found in the table below.
All suites have disabled access.
Delegates' Days
theMEM is an ideal venue to host a day for delegates, with all necessary facilities under one roof.
We are also happy to cater for your delegates and can provide anything from morning coffee and biscuits to a lunch finger buffet or a full three course meal.
How to Book
Make a Provisional Booking
Bookings can be made provisionally by contacting theMEM by phone (0191 263 4852), email (info@wallsendmem.co.uk) or in person. Provisional bookings are held for 14 days before being released.
Confirm a Booking
To confirm a booking, written or email confirmation is required along with a non-refundable 20% deposit of the agreed price and a signed copy of the terms and conditions.
What Happens Next
A pro-forma invoice will be raised with the outstanding balance to be paid a minimum of seven days' before the booked date.
If a room is booked less than seven days before the booking date, payment is required in full to confirm the booking.
Payment Method
Payment can be made by bank transfer or by cheque.
To Cancel a Booking
Cancellations must be made in writing or email and addressed to `The Reception'. The deposit is non-refundable.
Additional Information
Catering options are available at theMEM and prices are calculated on a per person basis. Outside catering is not normally permitted at theMEM.
